Kansas City, Missouri (July 2, 2006) - Light Environmental, Inc., a full service solution provider for state-of-the-art wastewater treatment and water recycling systems, announced that it received a contract to provide the construction oversight, equipment and the initial operations of a new wastewater treatment plant for a group of residential and commercial developers in eastern Jackson County, Missouri.
The contract with the area¡¯s Community Improvement District provides for the establishment of a wastewater treatment plan to satisfy the wastewater needs of a 167 acre commercial development and a 223 acre executive home subdivision consisting of 335 to be built residences. The combined flows from these two developments are expected to exceed 250,000 GPD. The wastewater treatment system is of modular design and is being built to accommodate future expansion by other area developers.
